BEER AND PARTNERS APPOINT STRATADIGM CONSULTING AS CORPORATE ASSOCIATE

The UK’s largest Business Angel^? Network has appointed Stratadigm Consulting as a Corporate Associate to represent it in Wales and the South West of England. This will allow Stratadigm to provide an additional service in sourcing funding for businesses throughout the country by accessing Beer and Partners extensive network of business angels.

Stratadigm was set up two years ago by Richard Morgan, Meredydd Jones and Ian Smith as a strategic consultancy for fast growing technology focused businesses. It brings together Richard’s many years experience in developing technology businesses, Meredydd previously a corporate banker but laterally a business development manager with the London Stock Exchange and, Ian a seasoned corporate finance practitioner including experience of stock market flotation^? both as an adviser and a as a Finance Director. The team is assisted by a group of associates and take on engagements with companies undertaking a step change in their growth strategy. THE UK’s largest business angel network has appointed its first corporate associate to identify investment opportunities among Welsh businesses.

Beer & Partners has selected Stratadigm Consulting to represent it in Wales and the South West of England (Devon and Cornwall). With offices in Cardiff and Plymouth, Stratadigm can now source funding for fast-growth businesses by tapping directly into Beer’s network of more than 1,600 high net worth investors.

In the past 12 months, Beer & Partners has completed more than 60 transactions between £50,000 to £3m. Mike Weaver, chief executive of Beer & Partners, said: “We chose Stratadigm specifically because of its experience in advising fast growing companies which are seeking to raise funds. Its combination of skills and experience also made it an ideal corporate associate in developing Beer & Partners’ services in Wales and the South West. ”
