25th Investment Fair attracts
well over 100 investors!
Our third and final Investment Fair of the year
took place yesterday (8th November)
in London's West End...
The event attracted well over 100 private investors, all keen to invest in quality early-stage companies with competent management teams and high-growth potential.
Exhibiting yesterday were 32 investable companies seeking between £100,000 and £2.5m in expansion capital to our investors. We also presented our two specialist divisions; Life Sciences and Property.
Now begins the follow-up process! Typically, a third of exhibiting companies successfully raise capital from the day. We received excellent feedback from investors and exhibitors alike during the Fair, and further discussions are already taking place this morning. Watch this space for updates as the fund-raising process continues!
We are now very keen to hear from fund-seeking companies who wish to exhibit at our next Fair, which has been booked for Thursday 8th March 2012. Please note that our angels are looking to invest into private companies that can show:
- A clear and rational business plan demonstrating significant growth
- A management team that has the ability to create profits, particularly through capital growth for investors
- An exit strategy, perhaps through a public offer, trade sale or buy back
- A realistic valuation for incoming funds
