Spring 2010 Programme – Off to a Flying Start!

Taking place on the last Thursday of each month, we have now held four Beer Investment Evenings which began in January this year. These evenings, kindly sponsored by St James’ Place Wealth Management, have proved highly popular amongst our investors, with over 140 in total having attended so far.

Response has been positive from both companies and investors, who both appreciate the networking opportunities alongside meeting each other face-to-face. Companies have presented from Technology, Environmental, Bioscience, Business Services and Defence sectors with many receiving funding on the night or directly after the event.

These evenings follow a standard format; after the initial registration, drinks and networking, Beer & Partners present three well-prepared fund-seeking clients before a gathering of investors. Each presentation lasts an average of 10-15 minutes, followed by a question & answering session from the floor. The evening is rounded off with drinks and further networking opportunities.
